Galaxy Fall: All My Skills Are Maxed

Chapter 365: Mirabella Vs Jessica

Chapter 365: Mirabella Vs Jessica

"I see I can’t defeat you!" Blade yelled out, raising his sword above his head to catch Davy’s attention before his own contract magic completely imploded.

"I don’t fight useless battles, so I surrender!!" He screamed, his voice carrying a mixture of relief and exhaustion.

"Oh... That isn’t surprising at all," Davy said with a low chuckle, drifting down from the sky as he cleared his throat. "Don’t mind me... Anyway, Carl from the Dragon Academy has officially won this semi-final round! Moving right along to the next match!!"

The millions of spectators watched in utter, suffocating silence as the two walked off the stage. The divine golden light faded entirely from the stadium, replaced by a tense, chilling atmosphere as Hitachi and Jessica stepped forward from opposite ends of the platform, their boots clicking softly against the freshly restored stone tiles.

"Okay you two!! Remember the absolute rule, No killing under any circumstances!!" Davy yelled at them, his hand gesturing widely before he instantly vanished, retreating from the already perfectly rebuilt Arena.

"I so want to see who’s truly the strongest between us—"

Hitachi’s voice abruptly cut off. He froze mid-sentence, his pupils dilating to pinpricks. Black, razor-sharp strings of hyper-dense, compressed energy had materialized out of thin air, appearing all over the place and surrounding him from every single physical angle. He stood utterly frozen in place, a cold sweat breaking out on his neck as he slowly, meticulously moved his head to the side, watching the translucent black strings pressing directly against his jugular vein, just a fraction of a millimeter from drawing blood.

’When did she?! How could she deploy a field this vast without a single drop of hand seals or chants?’ Hitachi’s mind raced in sheer panic. He looked up at Jessica, only to see her third eye—the golden Mythic Eye embedded in her forehead—bleeding profusely, thick, dark red blood flowing out and staining her porcelain face.

".....?!"

Mirabella and absolutely every single student and high master were completely dumbfounded, staring down at Jessica in absolute disbelief.

’She actually went straight to a Legendary-class spatial skill, and a forbidden one at that... If I move even a single muscle, my entire physical body will be cut into countless, microscopic sizes. I am completely, utterly at her mercy,’ Hitachi thought, gritting his teeth as the razor-sharp wires thrummed with killing intent.

’What can I even do here?! None of my inherited bloodline abilities or techniques can escape from these localized strings in a microsecond.’

’This is completely crazy?!! I intimately remember this skill from my previous, life; it’s supposed to be one of Jessica’s main abilities... But casting such a powerful spatial constraint using the raw power of the Mythic Eye as a catalyst?! Isn’t that going completely overboard?!’ Mirabella thought.

In her past life, this was indeed one of Jessica’s signature, strongest domain abilities, but she clearly remembered the strings being a vibrant, azure blue. This time, the entity controlling Jessica had used the Mythic Eye to forcefully power up the ability, completely turning it into something else entirely—a black weave of absolute spatial severing.

’There is absolutely no way Hitachi can survive if she closes her fist... With just a single thought from her mind, he will be instantly killed,’ Mirabella thought, her fingers subtly twitching as her hand hovered close to her spatial inventory, ready to summon her own weapon to intervene.

"I surrender."

".....?!!"

The unexpected words repeated in everyone’s minds continuously like a heavy echo, freezing every single person in the coliseum in place. The brilliant young master Hitachi, the pride and last hope of the legendary Azul clan, hadn’t even lasted a single physical round. The opponent had completely, overwhelmingly overpowered him before he could even draw his blade, and he had calmly admitted defeat.

Mirabella let out a soft, heavy sigh, relaxing her posture: ’There is structurally nothing he could have done... Jessica used the reality-warping properties of the Mythic Eye to anchor those wires. This way, I can’t copy the skill at all because it relies on the unique anatomy... While Hitachi has the eyes to copy it, if he even tries to channel his energy, Jessica will simply cut him to pieces before the spell forms. She wouldn’t kill him due to the rules, but she would make sure he lost his limbs or his core. If that happens, Hitachi won’t be able to complete any of his ultimate goals in this world. Surrendering right now is the only logical, right thing to do,’ she thought, keeping her golden gaze fixed on Hitachi as he stepped back.

"Um... Okay." Davy materialized some safe distance away from the lingering black threads, his voice shaky as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Hitachi has surrendered! Jessica from the Sword Academy officially wins this round!" He paused, checking the grand ledger before continuing:

"As for the massive team reward I mentioned in the past... it is officially void since the Dragon Academy didn’t secure consecutive wins."

Jessica tilted her head to the side in a chilling, robotic motion and blinked her silver eyes. Instantly, the terrifying web of black strings vanished into smoke as if they had never existed.

"Next—"

"I Surrender!!"

".....?!!!"

The entire crowd blinked in utter shock, their gazes violently snapping over to Carl, who already had his hand raised high into the air with a bright, entirely shameless grin. "I don’t plan to fight such a terrifying person!!" he added loudly. His majestic golden hair was back to its ordinary blonde shade, and his eyes had reverted to their common human blue.

"Um... Carl, I haven’t even officially called your name to the stage yet." Davy muttered, staring at the young guy blankly.

"You don’t need to call me up there, I know my absolute limit," Carl said with a relaxed smile, casually lowering his hand.

"Okay then!! Let’s jump straight to the grand finals of this global tournament!!!" Davy yelled, his voice blasting through the speakers as the digital bracket boards flashed in gold.

"Mirabella, the absolute first on the ranking board and Captain from the Dragon Academy!! Against Jessica, Captain from the Sword Academy!! Please step forward!!" He yelled, his voice trembling with genuine excitement.

Everyone in the multi-empire audience held their breath as the two absolute monsters of the generation finally stepped forward, their boots stepping onto the center of the reinforced arena stage. They stood face-to-face, a suffocating aura radiating between them that made the air itself vibrate.

"This will be entirely too intense for a standard field," Master Teacher Hayatobi said solemnly in the VIP booth. He snapped his fingers, and a massive, blue-tinted secondary runic barrier materialized over the arena.

"That Hayatobi is always on point with his caution, I should also place mine," Nadia said coldly. She also snapped her fingers, adding a third, crimson-reinforced energy barrier over the arena.

"Hmm... Those two are always competing over the smallest things," Keegan muttered under his breath, shaking his head. He snapped his fingers as well, creating a fourth, silver physical barrier.

The three legendary Master Teachers had just simultaneously added three extra, legendary class barriers strictly to protect the audience, the students, and the structural integrity of the coliseum against the two monsters standing down on the screen.

Davy swallowed hard, looking at the layers of dense magic sealing him inside with the girls. ’I think I should also run like hell and stand outside this barrier right now, or I will surely die as collateral damage here,’ he thought, nodding frantically to himself.

"Um... Okay, remember the special condition, Mirabella," Davy said, turning his pale face to the Dragon Captain.

"If she touches you, even once, with absolutely anything—including her skills—you lose automatically! This is the strict rule you agreed to... Is that still okay with you?" He asked.

Mirabella simply stood her ground, her beautiful, regal face completely calm as she gave a brief, decisive nod of her head.

"Okay then!! Everyone, Let’s witness true history in the making!!! Begin!!"

The exact moment the word left his mouth, Davy vanished via high-level teleportation, running completely out of the arena bounds and leaving the entire stage to the two main Captains.
