Chapter 239 Meeting the Founder [Part 2]
Chapter 239 Meeting the Founder [Part 2]
"You were granted magic. Is that why you can use all the types of magic?" Roman asked.
"Yes, so if you didn’t visit the elven village, how are you able to use different affinities?" The Founder asked.
’Can I tell him about the system? He’s an actual human born here, even though he knows about other spatial spaces. Does he know about the goddesses that supposedly rule this world?’ Roman muttered in his head, then turned to the founder.
Roman remembered that the founder could hear his thoughts; there was really no use hiding anything from him.
The founder continued staring at Roman but said nothing, waiting for him to speak.
"I have no idea, the awakening ceremony came and like everyone I awakened as an S-rank mage, but I didn’t get one magical affinity, I got all of them, though I can only use 7 of them currently since that the most widely spread types of magic," Roman replied.
"Really, or maybe it has something to do with the fact that my spirit inhabited your body," The founder replied.
’Well...this confirms it, he can’t hear my thoughts when I talk about the system or the goddess, he should have known earlier, and I’m sure right now he can’t hear my thoughts since I’m thinking about the goddess’
Roman was confirming and testing the theory simultaneously. The founder can hear his thoughts but not about the goddess; the founder can also see his memories but not all of them, because the goddess and system cannot be revealed.
Either it came with the system due to its nature, or the goddess is running interference, either way, he was glad he didn’t talk about the goddess, as he didn’t have the time to reveal his entire backstory or talk about Earth.
"Since you can use all magical affinity, it must have passed on to me during the awakening ceremony, that’s the whole reason I chose to be a mage," Roman replied.
"That would make teaching you a lot easier, and you can learn a broad range of spells. Next time to call me, simply meditate and think about calling me; I should be able to bring you back here"
"Our connection is weakening due to the time spent here. We’ll talk again, and next time get ready for a lesson." The founder spoke and the entire room fell into darkness.

Roman’s eyes fluttered open and he immediately looked around to confirm he was back.
The room was well lit but not by sunlight, instead by crystals close to the ceiling and Roman was now alone on the bed. He stood up looking around
Inside the room, it was just him and Sonia who was still unconscious lying on the couch. Victoria and Evelyn were not inside the room, and he was still in his underwear but his clothes were neatly arranged on the side of the bed.
Roman put on his clothes and sat back in the bed.
He received an overload of information and had to arrange his thoughts on what to do next.
’First there’s no way I’m getting the spell he used, and I wouldn’t want to sacrifice people just to seal the demon queen. Also, there are ten artifacts, meaning there are three more branches of magic I can learn’
’Again the founder was blessed and got his abilities from an elven village. I would very much like to visit an elven village. Imagine their ladies, elves are usually considered beauties, how marvelous would it be to have one screaming below me’
Roman looked towards the ceiling with a smile on his face as he thought about it, "I’m sure it’ll be impossible to find currently, that is if they exist, but elves usually live longer lives, it’s even possible the elf that took the founder to their village is still alive till this very day"
"Maybe next time I’ll ask him how to find the village, or the location he was taken from"
"You’re awake," Evelyn said after pushing the door open.
Roman sat back up as Victoria followed behind Evelyn and closed the door as she came inside.
"Yes, I actually talked to the founder" Roman replied and both of their eyes widened.
"Really, what did he say, what was he like?" Evelyn asked.
"Does he know about our situation? Did you ask him for a solution?"
"He was normal, like a normal human being and yes he knows the seal wouldn’t hold much longer, that was the whole reason his spirit inhabited my body. Also, he promised to teach me magic; hopefully, that goes well... And about the solution, he had no idea"
"Can’t you tell him to teach you the seal, or any other magic we can use to seal her away?" Victoria asked.
"No, the seal he used is a forbidden magic, so he’s not going to teach it to me, and the same seal won’t work a second time. We have to find another solution to the problem. Also, I have bad news and normal news"
"Bad news?"
"Coming from the founder who had faced the demon queen before, he told me she was unbeatable, he suspects she might be immortal, but that’s just a suspicion, but she was many times stronger than he was, that’s the whole reason he had to settle with simply sealing her away" Roman spoke.
"Wait...so even the founder couldn’t defeat her, with all the magic he possessed and controlled, is that even possible?" Victoria asked.
"Also, regarding the demon queen, the founder believes she’s tied down to Vernhall and can’t leave. That was the main reason she hasn’t conquered the world, but if she breaks from her seal, her presence alone would increase the power of her demon army, and it’s possible she might create new demon generals," Roman spoke.
"It just keeps getting better, we have no plan, we have no idea when the demon queen would be free, and now she can’t be killed, isn’t that great"
